The ossifying fibroma is a very uncommon benign fibro-osseous lesion that is limited to the jaws and facial bone. Most of this tumor occurred in women, with a predilection for the thirties and fourties. Microscopically, the lesion may be confused
with
fibrous displasia, and the final definitive diagnosis requires evaluation of the clinical, radiologic and pathologic configuration.
We experienced a case of ossifying fibroma involving right pansinuses, nasal cavity, which occurred in 32 years old woman presenting with a exophthalmos, nasal obstruction and headache. The tumor was removed by transfacial and bicoronal
osteoplastic
frontal sinus approach with a satisfactory improvement of above symptoms, and there is no recurrence up to the present time. (Korean J Otolaryngol 38:11, 1995)
